Feeding the Waffle House ego

Even at roadside eateries, moments of unlearning wafted…

Remember when our trailers crossed paths, creating deeper ways to make our travels seem constructed by the gears of cause and effect? We sat at the roadside grill, convincing others to join the fantasy of forgetting our souls were subordinate to spirit, and those in nearby booths to believe the complete self was a mechanical cog without our Absolute grace. Hankering for ‘deep fried vittles’, we manipulated others, solidifying their belief that both bodies and trailers were servos, particles, veins, waves, mitochondria, and pistons whirling about’.

Yep, together, we made everyone at the RV Park, as well as most waitresses believe their entirety was a tall stack of flapjacks dripping with bio-chemically evolved maple syrup.

What were we really hungry for?

Why did we need a 3D Diner experience to appear so real?

Why did we want everyone ‘else’ to forget their original ingredients?

And why did bacon smell so good?

Because friend, it was an effective way to turn significance into insignificance. If the customers viewed themselves as ‘accidents’, the existence of Will would be obscured. For Waffle House Humanity to remain ignorant, it needed to consider itself mechanical…. through a convenient, myopic, and limited perception guided by the self-created reflections of reductionism and materialism.

Inflaming their attachment became the griddle for cooking down the patrons light-creations. This, so our egos could shine, taste better, and be placed top menu… in bold. This is how we got away with eating the hash browns off others plates, and drinking their beer without giving thanks. We served ourselves in how we manipulated others.

Yet one day in insatiable hunger, and having spent as much time in the bathroom as booth, we noticed our epic distended guts were grossly unbalanced. Repulsed by the reflection, we barely squeezed back into the dining area. Bellies bulging, we couldn’t digest another serving.

Letting go of ego-gluttony, we quickly carb loaded singularity to drive from the Waffle House. Significance and insignificance shrunk in the distance. And although spiritual wisdom found in unlikely places was usually rejected, there was no avoiding the fact that Chicken Condon Bleu couldn’t be served at truck stops. Where souls gorged on the fast food of other creators ‘light’, there were only more Waffle Houses on the horizon.

Walking out the door, the smell of sausage and melted butter faded. We discovered science, religion, intellectualism, and perception were conveniences whose essence had transient worth… a knowing we had hid from ourselves - with no one else to blame.

Damn glad we drove from that town!

Fresh brewed realizations awaited…

Declarations

“At the Waffle House, no longer do I give my power away to a science that has no ability to ‘prove’ anything. Food served cold is returned immediately. I understand that science, religion, logic, reason are 3D glasses that have immense difficulty perceiving any of the other, more rascally ‘D’s. As I grab another napkin, I understand science’s benefits and shortcomings - this opens up a buffet of possibility and choice.”

“I am present and satisfied with my own hash browns. I leash my ego outside the restaurant; no longer ladling out dishes of self-facing sunny side up thought-forms, side orders of reason that lead back to my small-self, and heaping spoonfuls of significance or insignificance to weaken others ability to see the menu clearly. I’m in my mastery, keeping my ego well balanced by refusing to usurp the freewill of others. My Will is that of a creator that respects other creators and other’s creations.”

“Here at the Waffle House, no matter how low I’ve stooped to clean the deep fryer, science can only disprove. It has never proved anything. By its very methodology, it can only show you what’s currently known through repeatable observations, and whether the fries are no longer crispy.”

Suggestions

Inside the test-kitchen of the Waffle House, the scientific method can only disprove. Science is a great tool to explore our surroundings, however its limitations are obvious as burnt toast and undercooked hash browns. That’s why most theories of the past thousand years are disproved, removed, and extinct like the progenitors of the dino-chicken that now makes up your chicken fried steak ; ) Incidentally, only in logic and math are there ‘proofs’, and these are only found because they’re designed as closed caged systems, not free-range.

When dining at the Waffle House, and there’s someone in the adjacent booth, ask them if they consider themselves ‘scientific’. If they nod affirmatively, ask them what the ‘scientific method’ is, and if it can ‘prove’ anything. Wait for their answer. It’s likely they (including most scientists!) will adamantly insist it can and has proved many things. You got to smile and sip the coffee, as it’s interesting that the most ‘intelligent’ amongst us can be so far away from such a simple truth… ‘the scientific method can only disprove’.

There are many who view through the eyes of science. Unaware of its limitations (or ignore-ant or it), they find themselves judging their own value and essential nature without the proper perspective – that’s why the terms significance and insignificance are used, for they lead to this distracted state (not the Taoist pathless path where neither term holds much ‘significance’!)

Munch on some metaphors - Notes and Definitions

Town - The ‘town’ is a reference to any place that there isn’t integrated awareness of the Absolute-self and lower-self.

Waffle House/Roadside Eateries or Grill - A place of sensory gluttony where small-self has little realization of the Absolute.

Trailers/RV - Used here as a metaphor for the physical and energetic ‘body’ that is sometimes identified as the body and soul. (see Airstream)

Travels - Any combination in any order of any-thing or things including time, space, concepts, experiences, objects, distinctions, categories or sections of matter or energy, symbols (including letters and numbers), whether simple or complex that ‘exist’ solely as a symptom of the thought process.

RV Park - A metaphor for a gathering of fractionalized souls (physical and energetic ‘bodies’) who are interacting with each other.

Soul - The temporal energy body component of the temporal matter body. A false dichotomy term used to imply a ‘spiritual’ side of the ‘body’ when in fact both are constructions of thought (not necessarily created by the human ‘brain’).

Spirit - True spirit is referred to as only that which is ‘Absolute’ (see def). Any experience, duality (see def), distinction (see def), thing (see def), production (see def), materium, time, or creation (including ‘spirits’) understood from vantage of the temporal realm is not actually ‘spiritual’.

Will - A force and an awareness whose source is based in the ever-present, but may use the relative dualistic acts of in-ten-tion and at-ten-tion to manifest or conjurethings’ (see def) for the purpose of entertaining itself, and sometimes limiting or increasing its own and others perceptive field.

Humanity - Within the parables and allegories, the term ‘humanity’ refers to a perception that oneself, or those ‘like you’ are distinctly unique from other labels and creations of mind, thought, and belief that you have imagined and consented.

Light Creations - A thought ‘created’ concept implying its own existence and the solidity of time when there is none.
